We are excited to collaborate with you to support your child’s learning and development during the 2025-2026 school year!.  Here are some of the things that families can do to support learning at home:

1. Ensure your child maintains excellent attendance. This year we will continue to promote the importance of regular attendance through a variety of fun activities and incentives. Regular attendance is one of the most important factors in academic success. Thank you, families, for your commitment to attendance! Annalee has one of the highest attendance rates in our region and we reduced our Chronic Absenteeism rate by nearly 10% this year! Let’s keep this great work going!

2. Ensure that your child reads or that you read to your child every night for at least 30 minutes. We want our scholars to develop a life-long love for reading!

3. Make sure you have registered for the LAUSD Parent Portal. This will ensure that you can stay up to date with all your child’s educational information online. You can access the Parent Portal by going to https://parentportalapp.lausd.net/parentaccess/

4. Consider becoming a Parent Volunteer! To apply go to https://volunteerapp.lausd.net/ . Please let us know in the Main Office when you have completed your application so that we can help you with the next steps.

5. Join us for one of our fun family engagement days such as Family Lunch Days, Goodies with Grands, Muffins with Moms. Donuts with Dads, Family Science Nights,  BSAP Family Connect, or our monthly parent workshops!
